    Default CAS Latency 5 or 6???


    mga bro, can you help me what's difference between the two? Mu. differ ba ilang performance?
    i'm planning to buy a memory soon and naglibog ko sa duha, naay CL5, naa sd CL6?. and base sa akong pag canvass sa price, mas barato ang memory nga CL6. Unsa jud d.i difference sa duha?.. Hope you can help me...

    Cache Latency (CL) means how many cycles before the part of the memory can be accessed, the lower the number the faster/better the memory is.. if your looking at the Kingstone value ram, 99.999% of them will run at 5-5-5-15 settings instead of its 6-6-6-18

    thanks for your reply earlz, so mas best choice ang lower CL?.. I'm looking forward to a Corsair Dominator 4gb kit 1066 ddr2.

    You should lookup your ram in the internet and use the values provided my the manufacturer.

    Yes, CL4 is faster than CL5. Imagine a DDR2-1066 @ 4-4-4-12 /droooool
