ingon ako cuzn na ang chasis sa fortuner kay same ra daw sa innova, mao ala naka gawas ang fortuner sa US kay ala kapasar sa standard

fortuner did not come out in the US because its part of the asian IPV program. The whole IPV program would have to be introduced in the US for it to be brought there.

they all go together being part of the same platform. Fortuner is a money for value car so it doesn't make it the best car but the best for bang for buck

The Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, Innova, Fortuner, Hilux and even the Hiace shares the same platform(chassis). Toyota calls it TOP(Toyota Outstanding Perfomance) Platform. Toyota designs vehicle that will meet the needs of the certain country/continent. The IMV project is designed for Asia&Oceania market only.

Maybe it didnt pass on emission standard bcoz it runs on diesel engine. diesel engine produces more co2 compared to petrol engines. heheheh

i don't think the problem has been resolved. the problem mentioned by eeypee was experienced just 3 months ago and the fort hasn't even turned a year old.
fortuner looks good but that's it. tan awa nalang ayaw sakyi, coz even after changing the suspension, it still has a very stiff ride.
and 09 model did not improve as well, maybe a bit but not much.

starting sept 08 na new look so far wala naman me client ni likramo sa mga black smoke, loss of power, hard starting...etc.... sa mandaue nga dealership lang ha im not sure with mj cuenco branch. about the suspension we already requested the plant to improve it, but they can not bec they designed the fortuner to be rugged yet refined in design. No vehicle is perfect in design.

unsa man na suspension imo gi ilis sir? is it the TRD kit?

@kenny daghan gyud na trauma sir. some client mo prefer nalang ug gasoline engine. pro daghan man ghapon namalit maski 2nd hand pa. maybe naa advantage ang fortuner na we never talk about. puro nalang bati ang ma sturya.

mao bah? wala d ay ge hapun ni improve ang ride? some say ni arang2x dw, wat is it nga mu pawong kalit ang makina? automatic tranny na? but gwapo kau nang Fortuner, if dghan kog kwarta 4x4 ako palitun dayun, kay mas kusgan jud cya ug makina compared sa 4x2.. lahi jud ang power, nice pa jud ug dating, maski unsaon pana, dghan kau mu palit, mu lingkod ranang mga agent sa toyota mag huwat ra sa halin tungod sa ka dghan mu palit.., DBa predo? hehehe

dili sad oi... mangogat sad mig sturya oi... ni improve ang ride pro dili gyud parihas sa mga pajero. compare lang nako sa pajero kay mao man kadaghan compare sa mga tao. maybe tungod lang sa tires na improve kay same suspension raman daw ingon ang planta.
