diba there are a couple of presets? Sites all over the internet recommend the settings starting with SP 430x320 etc..etc.

all i have is MPEG 430x320 etc.. or H.624 etc etc.. walay line starting with SP...

Im using mpeg4 320x240/768kbps Stereo/128 kbps, Videos seems to be good quality na let me know ifyou try the others and how it goes

Yup thats what I do And buy the AV cable so you plugit anywhere anytime

Here are the essential accesories for the IPOD video

1.) Screen protector with face/back/click wheel protector also.
2.) Rubber Skin or a Hardcase of choice
3.) Extra USB cable and Car Charger and Wall Charger
4.) A/V cable (For IPOD Photo or Video only) For older models you can get a 3.5mm Jack to RCA cable (this is very cheap at any electronics store)
5.a) Griffin Roadtrip FM transmitter if you dont have a car stereo with Line in Jack (FM QUALITY AUDIO ONLY)
5.b) Pioneer CD-IB100 with ANy Compatible Pioneer Stereo (CD QUALITY even DIGITAL QUALITY on movies)
5.c) JVC Car Stereo with LIn in Jack on the front face. (Will post model later) (CD QUALITY)

Get those four and you will be happy already. No 5 is for those who have cars, pick any of the three.

These are some accesories that you buy if you have the extra cash:
1.) Cradle and remote (Since I have my IPOD on the case most of the time I dont need a cradle but if I have extra cash Id still get it )
2.) ARM BAND
3.) Ipod or Sony or any other type in-ear headphones (Actually this is essential for me but may not be for others-User dependent)
4.) ALTEC LANSING IM7 The Best portable Party Speakers for the IPOD! Can be hooked up to TV also for Video/Photo out.

I really wanna have the Cradle and Remote and also the Logitech Bluetooth Earphones for mobility.

We have everything that I mentioned above excapt the car stereos, well for the pioneer I can still get it for you and the ipod attacment

I have a Pioneer DEH8400MP HU. I don't want to change it and it is not an ipod ready HU. So, my best bet is using the AUX. Luckily, I don't use a CD-Changer.

What are the things I need to connect my iPod (3rdGen) to my HU? Where do I buy them? ^_^
