    You shouldn't be asking unsay difference sa DX10 and DX11. The right question would be naa ba kahay difference ang DX9 ug DX10. Halos walay diperensya except for eyecandy na gamay ra pud kaayo ang difference. Eyecandy in DX10 can be easily enabled in DX9 by using a glitch, take crysis as an example.

    DX11 itself, kay layo ra kaayo sa DX10. Because DX11 will use the most intensive rendering that will be ever done which is Ray Tracing Will Pixel Shader 5.0 pwn? I doubt it. Pixel Shader 2.0 up to Pixel Shader 4.0 barely had a difference.

    So lets put it in a equation

    DX11 =! DX10
    DX10 => DX9
    DX11 < DX9/DX10

    Hope you get the point

    shader 2.0 to 4.0, only diffrence noticeable were speed of rendering for me. also was the edging, dili na kaayo jagged and figures...

    i didnt notice sa earlier post, my reply to ninzka was about 9.0 and 10. my error, hehehe... yes there are noticeable differences sa 9.0 and 10. but with dx11, nobody can tell yet becuase dx10.1 even wasnt used by nvidia sa ilang new cards, only ati did. dx11 up until now is with W7 which is currently in a beta stage, but i can almost see no difference between 10 and 11 yet, and that is maybe because my card and my driver and my softwares dont support its features yet.

    just a little OT. was the system running on Celeron 1.86ghz?

    wow Cool!

    i think it was kinda wise for nvidia to skip 10.1

    kinda odd na wala pa sila ng publicity stunt sa DX11. hehehe.

    AMD/ATI and Intel (apil bah intel sa ilang laughabee) is so quite now adays. hehehe.

    Based on what ive read about this issue, DX9 and 10 has a huge difference the problem lies in the development part, developers were to lazy to make a DX10 only game so no body saw the power of DX10 only its potential.

    No amount of "glitching" can get you real DX10 only eye candy / effects, crysis in the other hand uses a DX9 code that is portable to DX10, still not a true DX10 game, no game yet as of now.

    I can only speculate how effective real time ray tracing is on DX11 but the PS 2.0 to 3.0 made a HUGE difference, PS3.0 to PS4.0 barely made any impact in performance and eyecandy.

    All of the above is purely based on what i've read before and take it as a grain of salt.

    The glitch part, well I just did, and many did. There's no doubt you're getting DX10 effects with DX9 though.

    As experienced about 2.0 vs 4.0, yes there is. but 3.0 and 4.0, meh. Thanks for clarifying anyways.

    Yes anyone can do it provided the game has been made for DX9 ground up and has some portable DX9 functions to DX10 the quality is similar but not the same. If its a pure DX10 game from ground up then no amount of "glitching" will make it run on DX9.
