make it fun coz programming is a lot of fun. Ayaw lng sd palabi-e of fun kay basin ma fundol ka.
And programming is a skill. You cannot acquired it in just 24 hours ,but you can gain skills from the languages that you think you feel comfortable. By the way, IT is not limit to programming only. You can shift to networking or information management if dili jud masulod sa imo utok ang programming. Never give up because IT is a very broad course, and you have many opportunities to come if you are determine to grasp and learn new things/ideas.

Don't get too involved with computers. Express yourself in a hobby that's totally unrelated with your field (i.e., photography, painting, scale modeling, hiking, etc).

In my own way of thinking. Programming is in our heart. Our brain will automatically think technically, creatively, critically and practically, only when you love doing it. Our brain operates in a mysterious way.

I have here a very simple example how I discover how my brain operates because I love doing it.

Let’s just say you have 10000 + 10000 = 20000. That’s pretty simple. Right? Now the question is. Did you know how your brain calculates it? Well, I discover my brain is pretty damn good in holding zero (0) therefore I saved the 4 zeros (0) mentally then just add 1+1 which is obviously too light for my brain to compute and concatenate 4 zeros (0) to the sum.

Now let me coined the idea into programming. If I am asked about the “possible output” then surely I’ll gave the instructor an output based on the requirements, an output based on heuristics and an output based on comparison. How I do that? Pretty simple but could be very complicated to the untrained eye. We all know that before coding we have or you have an SRS or in worst cases no SRS so you’re now plainly based on heuristics or the client might say they want their system to be like the one their competitors are using and that’s based on comparison. As you noticed I already have an index saved mentally and they’re Requirements, Heuristics and Comparison.

I’m trying to simplify this bro and I hope I successfully made it simple for you.

Finally, use the “Plunge In and Quit” technique. You know when sometimes complexity can be overwhelming. You might fell intellectually paralyzed. Try giving yourself at it for 30 minutes or an hour then stop and do something else. Don’t worry about being unproductive for this short time and if you feel too confused, quit early and continue it the following day. After a few cycles of this technique, you will begin to see the patterns and outlines of your progress.

as long as you have the heart and the brain.. and the belief that you can do it,... di man ata ka mo give up...
