and diba q9400 has 8x multi? and laso q9450? thxx

lols. la pa ka ka decide?
yes q9450 is still a good buy.
Filter Summary
one notable difference you get is a huge cache. (12mb) vs q6600 (8mb)
performance gain is probably negligible.
Conclusion - Review Tom's Hardware : Does Cache Size Really Boost Performance?
anyway, the most advantage you get is savings!
lg 775
cpu - <10k
mobo - 2k-5k
ram 1gb - 600-1000
lg 1336
cpu - 14k
mobo - 13k (cheapest)
ram 1gb - 1.5k-3k each (so around 5k-10k)
thats around 15-20k savings!!!
corei7 will probably drop price to 10k, mobo - 8k by dec 09.
ram to half it's value by 3rd quarter of 2009 (the beginning of mass production of ddr3)
you're going to spend 15-20k more if you want corei7.
q6600 is the best buy (imho)
with 15k - you could buy another gtx or 4870
if you plan to pair this with a 10k mobo, dili na worth it, cause it's almost corei7 price

just a quick question though: what do you usually run in your pc?.. was ur pc a gaming rig or more on digital editing?..
coz most people are buying whats latest in the market now but only using halfway of the procs capabilities.. its a waste of money, well not unless ok ra basta naa lang kay "whats latest"..
justified pag palit nako sa C2Quad over i7. GTA IV, NBA 2K9, Crysis ang games morag gamit jud ani (Crysis and GTA IV very noticeably smoother). pinaka heavy cpu task app is video encoding, haven't tried yet though kay bago pa. naa pa bitaw mas cheaper/faster revisions sa i7.
usually most of the games now runs great in core2 duo 3.0Ghz procs if you want the best graphic rendering then you should opt for a good graphics card crossfire system i presume.. i7 is designed for servers systems for multi task jobs.. video encoding mao na dha magamit nimo ang full potential sa imo proc.. but if gaming lang ka then i guess ur spending ur money not at the right place..
anyways its just a suggestion i dont care if you guys really wana but those latest proc.. but if your're a wise buyer or should i rather say price concious ka then i guess u should be aware..

me, i just want cpu heavy tasks done faster/more efficiently pero at the same time expensive hobby sad. murag dugayan ra ko encode high bitrate/high res videos para sa ipod touch with my C2D OC'd (usually takes an hour). and anyways morag ni catch up na sad ang software sa hardware run, ngkabug-at sad including new emerging games. pero morag kusog ra kau japun ang i7, layu ra biya. pang soft core ra ko, medyo. hehehh
thats the 1st thing you should do b4 buying ur rig u need to know what u really want for you not to spend ur money to the wrong items.. well not unless dagahan kag kwarta esp kana sky is the limit imo moto.. hehe
