well i'll leave you to that quest in uncovering the identity or whatever you may call it this god..so far i don't believe it..if there's any evidence that i can relate to and can evaluate and say that it has satisfied my definitions of god then i'll accept it..then consider me a believer and would gladly drop atheism..pero i am confident that there's no god..we're just trying to make sense of our existence and for the most of us they are confident in this supreme being be it personal or impersonal..that's yours i don't have any business with it pero if pangutan-on ko ninyo then my answer is of course to dismiss everything that you guys believe..not unless i am convinced..well your statement above is your own..you can philosophize it all but im content with my own that there is no god.

If someone were to ask me whether I believed in God, or saw God,
or had a particular relationship with God,
I would reply that I don't separate God from my world in my thinking.
I feel that God is everywhere.
That's why I never feel separated from God or
feel that I must seek God
any more than a fish in the ocean feels it must seek water.
In a sense, God is the "ocean" in which we live.

it is a continuing learning process... Years ago racism and slavery was socially acceptable... but now we have outgrown those distorted values.

Would anyone define RELIGION first and foremost because this got off the track why atheism is a religion.

To "others", religion is a sociological institution that's true purpose is to protect the family structure (by alienating homosexuals) through guilt, self-doubt and fear by spouting the dogma of a man-made God in order to increase the reproductive rate of pre-industrial or medieval civilizations, which in turn increases a species overall chance of survival.

Up until about two hundred years ago - or so - religion was needed in order to keep high birth rates and control the masses; however today, religion is used as a tool to make war, confuse and psychologically damage people and promote hatred towards diversity.

Religion ruined my life and turned me against non-believers, blacks, jews and gays.
