How do you define goodness? How do you know goodness is better than being bad? What are the effects of goodness and why is there so much goodness in the universe? What makes it stand or the goal of every human to be good? What is really there in GOODNESS?

in my own atheistic point of view..goodness is just a choice to whether manifest it or not..goodness is better than bad is because goodness is beneficial to me or to the person i helped or beneficial to both of us..

For me as a human being..good isn't really my goal my goal is to live long enough...i'll only manifest goodness whenever i want to..e.g. helping people whenever i can or refusing help because i myself is in need of help or just simply i can't help..or i just don't want to go at great lengths to help someone..well it depends nlang cguro if who's asking my help.

wouldn't that contradict the view then sir reg that GOD cannot be confined within the definitions of "good" or "bad", which are human concepts?

if i understand your point correctly, which seems to say that an "atheist" is either actually an agnostic, or just a confused theist denying his god-self ... hmm then if i were an atheist i am the god of a non-believer (me), making me a non-god ... i am a no god, i don't exist, validating my being an atheist!

well i'll leave you to that quest in uncovering the identity or whatever you may call it this god..so far i don't believe it..if there's any evidence that i can relate to and can evaluate and say that it has satisfied my definitions of god then i'll accept it..then consider me a believer and would gladly drop atheism..pero i am confident that there's no god..we're just trying to make sense of our existence and for the most of us they are confident in this supreme being be it personal or impersonal..that's yours i don't have any business with it pero if pangutan-on ko ninyo then my answer is of course to dismiss everything that you guys believe..not unless i am convinced..well your statement above is your own..you can philosophize it all but im content with my own that there is no god.
