    @TS

    if connected ka sir. check your IP Address..
    -if modem router imo gamit you should get an IP address of 192.x.x.x
    -if modem gamit nimo you should get a Public IP address of something like 124.x.x.x (PLDT ni)

    if you have this kind of info...try to ping a website
    - Ping www.yahoo.com
    - Kung naa reply like pinging yahoo.com [68.x.x.x]
    - nya packets sent 4,recieved 4, lost 0 pasabot ani naa ka internet connection.
    - try check sa internet browser nimo kung maka connect ka...
    - kung page cannot be displayed, copyaha ang ip address result sa pag ping nimo sa yahoo.com
    - the type the IP address sa address bar nimo [68.x.x.x.]
    - kung mugawas ang yahoo website, this means naa ka DNS problem.
    - Set Static DNS sa TCP/IP propeties nimo. you may also use open DNS or 4.2.2.2 for primary 4.2.2.3 for alternate..



    IF di pa gihapon ma resolve contact your ISP...

    basta di ka ping kay wa na connection diba? bisan pa status is connected

    so kung makaping ka sa imu gateway and any website like yahoo or google, that means there is an internet connection... basin naa ka proxies or something wrong sa imu browser, possible sad na ang firewall and anti- virus nga nag run

    i encountered on globelines before i change the setting on their modem. setting the MTU/MRU to 1452 solve the problem for before i cant connect to LiVE Messenger but its ok with other IMs also i can browse other site, that solves my problem.
