This is the only armageddon mention in the Bible.

In my own opinion .. there is no Great physical battle that will happen on the Day of the Lord, it is the Judgement Day.

that doesn't explain verse 14, For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

in fact that doesn't explain anything at all. everytime megiddo is mentioned in the bible, killing is involved. if there is any symbolism, the place symbolizes the massacre that will happen in the end of days. yahweh is just as "violent" as allah, if you want to insist on acts of violence. don't you see? IF you are to believe the book of revelations, you have to believe there will be bloodshed. unless you want to make scriptures fit your doctrines.

yes, the only mention of the word "armageddon" .. but its origin "megiddo" appears a number of times in the OT.

Where did u get that idea sir .. Paul teaching is a related to Christ ... since he is the most educated of the apostles he wrote the more evangelistic approach ..

i agree most Evangelistic Christian churches prepare Paul doctrine.
