Woah.. This thread is hot.. like fiery hot..

Anyway, i have read why TS started the thread here but still I would agree with the others, this thread is in the wrong section. It's an issue of people not religion.

    My POV

    • This is aint about religion or something related to it. It's about two people (religious pajud. Such a shame to Catholics.. Oh gosh I'm a Catholic.. ehehe!) making a mistake, a grave mistake. Well someone notioned that they are role models.. well we can compare them to teachers.. role models too but not all are models (some do immoral things). And the list goes on, from the president, down to parents, down to an older sis/bro and etc. So I say, we all are supposed to be role models for other people.
    • Everyone makes mistakes, regardless on what group or category you belong. There is always a bad fruit. So generalizing that a particular group to be bad, immoral, stupid or anything that is related because of some fruit that is stupid without even knowing the rest of the group? Now that's what we call being prejudice.. hope won't lead to discrimination. There is a difference between saying that a person is wrong and saying a group is wrong because of one to two person.
    • There is a difference between religious person and a spiritual person. For Catholics(since I'm one) religious people are those, who pray everyday, attend mass, go with procession almost all Church activities they're there. Spiritual person doesn't have to be a religious, more about growth.. has the willingness to grow as person, as someone who can make a difference in this world by touching lives. They're trying to be virtues. Gives love and compassion. A religious person is not a spiritual person and vice versa. Well, there are times that a person is both. (Maybe this is why I still believe that an atheist can be a spiritual person.). So please, lets refrain from aligning this two. By the way this is not limited to Catholics okey?

    @lady_blackrose
Hope you won't get mad on me for saying this, but for people to call you this and that I think they are saying that because of the way you post. How you speak up on your posts.

couldn't have said it any better man.
perhaps the TS wants to tell something as honest as she can however
we can never blame people for having these of kinds of reactions.
too bad because it ended like someone has been ganged up just
because the way she thinks does not concur with them.

may it be atheism or something else i hope this does not end
up like those threads where one gets little respect from others.
sabtanay ra gud ta. iyaha bitaw na opinyon.

    om shanti!

This would be a funny situation in school.
    I'm Maria Christina Tahanlangit.
My father is a priest and my mother is a nun.

And why aren't they allowed to marry?

How can they preach about parenthood and family,
if they are not even parents
or they never have a family of their own?

Catholic Priests and Nuns are suppose to be servents of our Lord full time and they already know when they join and then vowed during their ordaination

it is been challenge since in memorial and that is one of the reasons why there are many factions of Christianity that break away and from another group.

Correct me if I'm wrong i think only catholic have this rule

nalingaw ko sa thread ug basa.

it was indeed a despicable thing for them to do as we tend to expect gingerliness and wariness from the people of God. but, we're not forgetting that they're human too. people make mistakes, even people such as them.

doesn't make my faith wane a bit.
