One of the teachings of the ancient wisdom is about Man especially his bodies and corresponding principles.

The ancient wisdom teaches that man is a soul. This soul goes into a journey and wears different bodies thorugh a series of incarnation. The bodies and principles are seven in numbers. According to bodies the most solid is the physical body. science of anatomy has almost explored this complex part . Next we have this Emotional body. A body larger than the physical body and interpenetrating it. It is where our emotianal nature comes. sensations wehter painful or not are expressed through this body. The matter of this body is much finer than the physical. finer than the emotional we have the mind body much larger than the emotional body. it where our concrete and abstract thinking are expressed.
and during incarnation it is divided into lower and higher mind. Next we have the Causal Body or the Soul. this is where causes from the past life are stored. next we have the buddic and atmic body. ...

now with the principles. .. we have the physical bodies along with the prana(Life priciple) and the etheric double. With the etheric, it is where chakras are first observe. this chakra or the wheellike vortices passes the prana and distributes it on different organs of the physical body. .. this etheric double is rationale of what is called ghost, such as the likeness of the paerson caught in camera , in cellphones or seen by some. ...but it is still physical in nature, still subject to the laws of chemistry and physics...it can be affected by strong acids...
