No he's not a hero but a traitor.
Bro JESUS CHRIST manifest into flesh in order to save the world and have a chance for ETERNAL LIFE if they follow His GOSPEL. Its the will of GOD that He mus manifest into flesh so that His blood will save and cleanse our sins.

In the bible bro (if you're going to read it) there's many occasion that jews, scribes, and pharisses look for CHRIST and want to kill HIM but the time of JESUS is not yet at hand because the foundation of the CHURCH was not yet established. After he established it then its HIS time and he offer and failed to refuse to be captured.

In fact when the time JUDAS ISCARIOT pointed JESUS by a KISS its not the time JESUS was arrested.
the arrest happens after that because upon the arrest PETER raise his sword and cut the ear of MALCO a soldier then JESUS attached it back to MALCO.

the prophecy of GOD must be happened or must takes place, and the prophecy of JUDAS was been prophecies in the book of PSALMS. It might not be in the person of JUDAS but other will fulfill it.
