8801 only have 850/1800/1900mhz GSM
8800 have 900/1800/1900mhz GSM

U.S. uses 1900mhz
Philippines (smart and globe) uses 900 and 1800mhz.
sun uses 1800 only.

so far mura no country uses 850mhz GSM.

so better get the 8800 para dual band ka sa philippines...
else you'll get low/drop signal if you are smart/globe user.
