You might want to to meet the Theosophical Society here in Cebu and find out more how you can learn about Esoteric Christianity! All Religions are welcome!

Christianity is a spiritual path just like other religions and there is nothing mysterious about it.
You don't necessarily need to have an above average IQ. What is important is that you are ready and open to the inner teachings of Christianity. So, study and reflection is really a requirement here my friend!

if you're an open-minded person, there are Societies or Orders here that discuss often teach the Occult or Mystical side of Christianity. but you must not be judgmental or prejudicial. listen to what they have to say first and then try to reconcile in your Core-Being if it is in parallel to what you believe. the possibilities are limitless.

    are you into history?

No. The teachings in the seminary were limited to the Catechism of the Catholic Church mainly the sacraments, the scripture and the Vatican II.

Theosophists are eclectic in nature. If you belong to a particular faith, you need not LEAVE your religion but rather you are asked to LIVE the true teachings of your religion.
