Again lets deal the idea of whats close to being in paradise.
This is where I am focusing, and for the enjoyment of some, the discussion is open.

RECESSION - in the Philippines this is not a news, this is a NORM. Therefore, no future.

To someone who mentioned that the US economy if "far from what its been", therefore, it was once a paradise, the catch? It can recover. VERSUS Philippines, "NO MAS"

Health Insurance? What about? In Canada and in England, EVERYONE gets to be treated by their illness and as they are about to be discharged from the Hospital, they go to the Hospital's CASHIER- to redeem their medicine (free) and most of the time they get CASH (yes, the patient are the ones who takes cash from the Hospital's cahier as disbursement for their future medication that was prescribed ) In America, if you loss your job or you dont have a job, there is PUBLIC AID - it entails FREE HOUSING, EDUCATION, FOOD, MEDICINE...What more can you ask?
In the PHILIPPINES - noneda, no insurance, no public aid, nothing free- Worse if you dont have any deposit before your hospitalization stay, they kcik you in the curve. DO THAT IN AMERICA- you will be a Multi millionaire in a year. Law Suit-BIG TIME!

What does got a Car dealership do with your Purchased Vehicle? Be if they closed or Open?
Why? they key will not fit in the ignition? or the car wont start? or the wheels got locked?
    I-DONT-UNDERSTAND.
Once you took the vehicle out from the dealers lot - the Bank takes over the payment? not your Car Dealer?
Your EMPATHY to your Car Salesman strikes a BIG cord. Is he your relatives? Or significant others?
BELIEVE me, salesman ( in any shape or form) does not care about you, all they care is the sales they make. And if they received pink slips? Too bad, but thats LIFE in general anyways. SHIT happens.

    H-A-L-L-E-L-U-I-A-H

May not be Paradise - But close to Paradise.

Philippines? One hell of a place to call paradise.

People commit suicide - Statistics shows, suicide case did not increase since 30 years, its in the NEWS because the MEDIA sensationalized it.
In the Philippines - people kill to survive. Is this Paradise to you?

AMERICA is close to being in "Paradise" (term used by the author)
Philippines- I dont know, What do you think?

This is the Root of the Discussion. This is my story and i'll stick to it.
grabe gud ani.. maypag di nalng ko mangarap maka adto sa gawas oi basin ma ingon ani nya akong concept sa paradise..

In case you have not noticed, a lot of posted thoughts here connotes some ideas one way or the other, infectious and can contaminate. It can be interpreted in so many ways. Well I did not let it affect me. For when I came to America I have no intention to squander my hard earned money, nor I will be inclined to hoard the blessings i will gain to my poor families and relatives, and perhaps neighbors back home. For I believe anything in this world can be shared no matter how small it looks, for only in sharing you will feel the real meaning of joy of what you achieve or accomplish. This is :Paradise" to me. If one needs my help I dont mind sharing be it a stranger or a very distant relative. If I have some thoughts, I dont mind blurting it out, and yea, I know when its offensive and when its out of topic.
OKAY - so you're aware nga off topic na ka, now ngano sige paman kag supak? ... check the forum rules about off topic posts! AGAIN! If you're trying to justify your post as being "ON TOPIC" .. sorry bai, I can't connect your statement to what you explained just now. I saw your statement as a rebuke to a fellow member. It was off-topic and it was also confrontational.

Besides the point... you don't see me diving in to your exchanges.

You and Me, and the generation prior to us, was and in some ways being helped and received blessings used by God as instruments mostly from another individual and if you believe otherwise thats HYPOCRISY.
My arrival here in America and the Job I got out of nowhere is a blessing, and I have no plans to squander it and hoard it ALL to myself, I dont see my neighbors who never bother to invite in their yearly party as my enemy, I dont find my relatives whom I dont know exist come to me all of a sudden and beg to have their kids be sent to college a pest, I dont find it wrong to give a rice and food to a neighbor who once plastered our names in the bulletin board because we were not able to pay the yearly dues in our village, or who spread rumors against us because we had a blackout since we can not pay our VECO bills.
You're a good person then?... that's what you're trying to say? COOL.

YES.. you posted off topic messages. I'm not talking about you landing a job and stuff... CHECK YOUR INFRACTIONS!! You've typed paragraphs of unrelated statements to what your infraction is all about. Look.. just CHECK YOUR INFRACTIONS!!!! and spare me from your long speech.

I am not the only one who believes you posted an off topic post. I'm also not the only one who believes that you're confrontational. You already received infractions from a fellow moderator about you insulting other members.

PM yes... the infraction notice was sent to you via PM.. you should've replied there instead of posting your frustrations here. Check your private messages PLEASE!!!! Such flowery speech yet wa ka kasabot sa akong sayon nga explanation about off topic posts and infractions.

And by the way... I'm banning you. You dare question my judgement? I've been a moderator on this forum since its first year.. Jenesse:

America, if you loss your job or you dont have a job, there is PUBLIC AID - it entails FREE HOUSING, EDUCATION, FOOD, MEDICINE...What more can you ask?
When you lose your job (non of your fault or your fault doesn't matter) your company stops paying for its part for medical insurance. You however, have a choice to continue medical insurance through (COBRA) BUT... there is a big but. You pay for the full premium + 2% administrative fee.

If you don't have a job... (and one who is here with tourist visa?) hehehe... ngandoy... you cannot get government aid... not even food stamps. You might however go to Christian Services and get help from there, but government? What is the sense man? You're not paying taxes, why should the government help you? And... the income requirement to get government help is too low as in very low. $7,000/year I think. You need to get your info right, you are just one slightly ignorant tourist who thinks he knows so much better compared to people who's been here awhile.

America is not paradise but it is a land of opportunity tuo ko ani, although now medyo pause usa kadyot ang land of opportunity, daghang problema ang nasud. But Jenesse, don't get us wrong, of course we wish you well although it's pinoys like you who are too hangin destroy the good in being Filipino. You see, it is quite common for lowly Filipinos who boast too much, kay nakaari lang ug America. The less a person knows the more he proves he knows.
