i am in favor of this...those foreigners are not as arrogant and self-centered as filipinos.if you've noticed guys...those pinoys who have properties in pinas...its either they will have their property fully fenced or if not...ur gonna be shoot dead once u trespass but the attitude of those foreigners are not as bad as filipinos...id say that the way they are being brought up back in their country...i know they can do better than a filipino.cultivate the land maybe and make progress out of it rather than being so self-centered thinking that theyre gonna take our lands and whats gonna happen to us?be optimistic... we're through this...our country has been ruled so long by filipinos....did u see any changes?improvements?nothing....corruption is flaring up...its way beyond any filipino's control...why dont we give those foreigners a go and will see?

foreigners are more of a help in our country....some of them are missionaries who just go there to distribute some goods and give some help...has there been filipinos acting like one so far?naa man gale but theyre connected to politics...pagwapo sa image lang.so hypocrite!

i am NOT in favor of this, the law has its reason why they are prohibiting such. foreigners who wish to own properties here in the Philippines are mostly the once who wants to take advantage of our resources and our people. if they are allowing this, present scenario would be, most of the corporations here in our country would be owned by foreigners who intends to milk our people and our country to make themselves richer. filipino entrepreneurs could not compete, if they will, they would fall behind this big time foreigners. we know the trend of this business minded people.. money, money and greed greed, monopoly, oligopoly... ! i don't believe they would think about the welfare of our countrymen except for making the best out of this cheap labor.

look around you sis...whose more of a cheap charlie when it comes to giving wages? if a filipino couple gets a maid there...they'd just pay 2500 php...but if its a foreigner...they do pay more than that not to mention the benefits like they can eat what the foreigner eats...know why?coz they're not that as ill breeders as filipinos.look what always happen to those poor workers...they work their asses just to earn cents...but still its not enough and who are they working topinoy usually di bah?
sa maids lang gale..mao jud ni ako na notice...palainon sila ug kaon dapat lahi ila sud-an.mais and isda.luoy na gale kaayo...lisud-lisuron pajud.

yeah, but try to look around pud sis, how many economic zones here in the Philippines na foreigners ang tag-iya, most of them di ba?...why here? why not anywhere else? they may pay higher though on maids and on other services. and when it comes to giving really cheap wages, we are very much aware that Chinese stores here in cebu are giving below minimum wages to their sales clerk and atbp.i discount nalang diay na nato sila? Pinoys may be giving less but are not known to be worst employers.

What are happening now? since these foreigners could not own property here in the Philippines, they are marrying nakalugsong-jud-ni Filipinas, making them dummy owners of their businesses, lots, and anything else they wish to own here in the Phils. and siyempre, since poverty stricken najud ni atong nasod, a lot of Filipinas fall into marrying these retirable-if-not-retired 60+ Joes. is everyone happy with this scenario? it's a two-way parasitic relationship. being a Filipina, I am not proud of that.

I would still go for... the Philippines is for the Filipinos! they could invest here, yes they always can. But they can't own us, nor a part of us.This is our land and we are entitled to it. Our law of the land stood for something and our Filipino heroes did not die for nothing .

look...our country has been run for a long time by filipinos...did u see any improvements?maybe yes...some...but at the end of the day...the bad weighs more than the good...isnt itcorruption and poverty are unending...people killing people to get paid due to so much poverty...

problems there are never ending...my point is...why wont we give this a try?if they will build up businesses there...whats wrong with that?they would help those who are umemployed?lets stop being such a drongo...enough of this pride...look how far we've gone on thinking filipinos can do better?look around u...everywhere there are a f*cking street children!these blokes are gonna help the economy.thats for sure!

our country was not run by Filipinos for a very long time, compare our history with that of progressive countries, we are still considered a young country. History would tell you, Three centuries of Spanish Oppression, American, Japanese, American again.

they are already establishing their businesses here! are you not aware of that? foreigners are already investing in our country! We have what we call, economic zones...call centers, lear, lexmark, taiyo yuden, tamiya, makoto, pentax, fairchild, bigfoot... and the list goes on! they are already helping our Filipinos in terms of employment... They have projects helping impoverished schools...

but the issue here is... are foreigners allowed to own properties here in our country? The answer is NO! Why? because our law prohibits it! why is it prohibited? because we adhere to, The Philippines are for the Filipinos, unless someone would wish to ammend that... charter change anyone? GMA would gladly welcome that

it's not just about pride, it's about identity. Philippines are for the Filipinos not just 30-50% of it. i would still believe that Filipinos can do better. blame me for my passion for the Filipino people, but i still see hope in us. There's a handful people doing their best for this country, i could not discount it by resorting to believe that others, the foreigners, could do better.
