HOW to overcome your SHYNESS? by: smurky
i started pretty "shy" when i started my first business.
now, medyo baga nako og nawong. hey, i still have a
certain degree of shyness in me (selective "shyness" -
it means being "shy" in the right situation).
and i realized not until i get out of my shell i wont be
successful no matter how badly i want it.
the psychology of "shyness" is this - "fear" of REJECTION or
"fear of OBJECTION".
have you experienced a conversation when you want to say
something but you just decided to keep it yourself coz you
might be misinterpreted or be ridiculed for your opinion. youre
afraid you might say the "wrong" words.
how to be confident? it's not an overnight thing. it's a
daily process. There's no shortcut. you must be willing
to pay the price.
heres my answer: join any SALES force! (what?)
let me repeat it? pag-practice og PAMALIGYA! (there, ive
said it)
the idea here is to overcome your shyness.
it doesnt matter what service or product
youre selling. it doesnt even matter kung nikita
ka or wala. dont think bout the money. believe
me the "selling experience" will bring out the bests
in you.
unsa may akoy ibaligya? pwede ka mag-part time
bisan any of the following:
- you can be a REAL STATE agent
- try the challenge of being an INSURANCE agent
- or you can become a CREDIT CARD agent
- how bout DIRECT SELLING?
- join an MLM or Networking company
what do you accomplish out of doing "sales"?
- you meet a lot of people (win "new" friends)
- you gain the "confidence" you need...
- teaches you the art of negotiation
- helps you to become goal-oriented
- it cultivates time-management
- it makes you a "better" person
- you learn to put yourself on others' shoes
till my next post.... appreciate your time....![]()

for those who are in my "coaching" program:
im gonna meet you sometime this February (personally).
im also a "student". like what our co-istoryan jabez_rmc
told me, im also a "lifetime student". i never stop learning.
and i know i can learn something from you when we meet

"I Havent Save Anything In My 5 Years of Employment" (by: smurky)
Nope. the title doesnt illustrate my current financial status.
I hope you agree with me when i say "that" statement (the title) is a
common depiction of an average employed Juan de la Cruz's life.
well, I started that way but now ....
(to be continued)

got something to show you. maybe it can shed some light
for the "many" years you've got your job and (STILL) you keep on
wondering why on earth you dont have a bank account till now.
all you need is to "CHANGE the WAY you THINK" - plus your discipline.

(continuation)
i've devised something. maybe, just maybe, it can help.
hey, if i can do it then you can do
(im on my 3rd month now ani nga strategy)
it's really bout living within your budget.
1. Buy one pack of white envelopes. (kanang plain "sobre". ayaw lang ng AIR MAIL... hehehe)
2. Sa (2) duha ka sobre, write "WEEK 1" & "WEEK 2" respectively.
3. sa 3rd sobre, write "SAVINGS" - every payday, place here 10% of your salary.
4. here's what you need to "mark" the rests of those envelopes (be flexible)
TITHES - (if you "religiously" understand it)
BILLS - (diri nimo ibutang imong water bills, electricity, rentals, credit card payments )
MISCELLANEOUS - (other budgets - like cellphone load, etc...)
VACATION - (i intentionally included this one coz i want to pamper my wife
& kids every 3 months and treat them to a vacation.)

5. lets assume every 15 days imong sweldo.
"WEEK 1" - your budget for the 1st 7 days (food, transpo, etc...)
"WEEK 2" - your remaining budget till your next paycheck
how to come up with your "weekly" budgets"?
FORMULA: your "SALARY" minus "SAVINGS" (10% of salary) minus "BILLS" minus "MISCELLANEOUS"
equals "WEEKLY BUDGETS" divided by two (2). take note that your Weekly BUdgets = WEEK1 + WEEK2)

(continuation)
6. no matter what happens, temper yourself to live within your budget.
ayaw hilabti ang imong savings. as your "savings" grow, learn to spot
opportunities and invest it. go get a mentor to guide you where to invest
your hard-earned "savings".

to the "coaching" students.... see you later sa Eyebiz!!!!![]()
