2hours is required for TLs and QAs. thats true. But sometimes, They get over the phone a lot! thats because of the undermanned thingie Emax is experiencing! Operations TL even emphasized that they NEEDED head because EMAX will PAY the client if Emax cant Provide enough number of heads Required on a Daily Basis. Bunch of BS.

per interval not daily! that's where you're wrong and it's not BS its what you call BUSINESS. there is always an agreement. in emax it's per head count as well as service level. most of other call centers is based on service level. why do you think they used to offer P250 an hour OT pay?

Whats with the 28k thingie again. As far as Advertising is Concern, Only Emax here in Cebu keeps on Emphasizing on their Bonuses. Which ever the inconsistent amount it. It is the BONUSES IN TOTAL. Check them out if you want. They also emphasize on POSSIBLE INCOME. when it is almost impossible. Dont you think thats why more than Half leave Emax after Completing Training?? Only those who needed the job badly. That is also why when someone offers another job, THEYLL LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. Loyalty eh? why would we be loyal to a sucky POSSIBLE income job??

since you're so skeptical about this then let me show you proof of what it's like working for emax once you get HIRED and how possible it is. the year-to-date amt on the right side will tell you how long i've been with the company if you do the math. now tell me how impossible it is again given my tenure and the net amount i'm given and these amounts indicates average to above average performance and not exemplary yet.

Working Excess hours in EMAX is COMMON. Team meeting AFTER SHIFT or, team meeting BEFORE SHIFT. heck no! The usual 9hrs working time is 9hrs 30mins in EMAX!! 30mins excess EXCLUDING THE MEETINGS!. Not excessive??

with how stressfree the job is that is not a problem. besides once you get hired you rarely get meetings. in my case i haven't had any meetings in since what november perhaps. as much as possible meetings are done during working hours

correction 2.5k on average for 15 days. this is based on marriott's salary. it may not be 5 star but it comes close. ask an employee from marriot a regular employee who started working for marriott since marriott opened we're talking about a regular staff. this employee is getting 9k as basic pay. the only reason this person stays is due to service charge because what he gets is higher than his basic but then this is only applicable to regular employees not contractaual employees wherein majority of hotel employees are.

right now we have 2 accounts, wamu (which going to be chase soon and yes chase is staying), ebay(1st voice account sa ebay).
emax has been in the philippines for quite a while now but in cebu its relatively new, going to our 2nd year. hehehe...
this is just a rumor, havent confirmed it yet... reason training is on hold coz new trainees will train with chase rather than with wamu.

for your info, EVEN if it is in per interval basis, it wouldnt be my fault since The OPERATIONS at that time has been announcing its DAILY! so STFU! and i have to tell you, OT at that time was at 300/hr

my gawd.. 2.5k/15days?? thats pretty small... basic of 9k is also small.. thats basically the minimal pay... most callcenter doesnt get the minimal. its always MORE! that always EXCLUDE the bonuses also. so what are you talking about?? Hotel Employees = CallCenter Agents?? be real.. youve been to 4 callcenters and you still arent able to differentiate?? try hopping if you are confident about getting work. if not, then stay where you are. and try to get a life outside work.

we're now so desperate to get our message across that we now have to resort to profanities? i'm not correcting your experience. i'm correcting your info. after all this is all about information. you claim it's almost impossible to get bonuses whereas i've shown proof it's not. in fact it's almost quite impossible not to get bonuses.

well if you don't care enough to ask then you will never know what the real deal is. and it's common knowledge that what appears to be isn't always the case and there's always more to what left unseen and unsaid.

why should i not brag about it? perhaps most call centers especially the big ones offer it but "NOT", take note "NOT", (as you are claiming) all call centers offer attendance bonuses. I know this for a fact. don't forget there are always exceptions to the rules.

i know what my experience are in other call centers. there are always pros and cons. technical support, sales, customer service i've tried it. all i can say is that this is the least stressful. and a lot of ppl in emax can attest to that. but then that will hold unless one is the kind to be go for tech support and now that is what i call real puppets. yea there may be new issues depending on which account you have but pretty much everything is the same and you can never change things. everything is as is. because unlike customer service one can never interchange things. certain steps must always be followed. i.e. internet connection 1. check if all hw is fine (power, cable, lights, etc..) 2. check ip address and gw. 3. yada yada yada....

hah! call centers and hotels may not exactly be the same industries but work is work. and yea you may sound so surprised but it's quite true. and some of these ppl are college graduates and hey settle for it for one reason or another. most for opportunities abroad. future where? in other yet higher paying call centers who also kills you with their demands? no thanks! perhaps emax is not the best paying call center but then i do know for a fact that it is one of the best paying inclusive of bonus of course. which i don't mind because it ppl a reason to work hard and and enjoying hitting the metrics. afterall when that is not the case ppl tend to get lazy and be complacent. i have my own reasons for staying in emax. the pay is just an added perk.

But im pretty sure not everyone in Emax atm are PRO emax. i can name one. Belle. Ka teammate nako who stayed coz she needs it. you can ask RadioStar kay, as far as i remember, he also left kay P500 nya na OT na magic. Nearly graduating is another reason why he left. I know him since College days. Wla pa ko ni graduate coz im sick of studying... wlay ni datu sa sobra ka bryt. its only peer pressure and labor competition kung nganu importante ang diploma dri sa pinas, good thing i dont need to stay here... but i love my freedom here LOL. You can go ahead and target that, Im not closing my doors if ever i think back of finishing my accountancy off USC.

sorry about that. im just riding along the person above. I have no intention on questioning your performance. Lets just say i have a different standard for being FREE and happy. And thats what my standing is, now. I dont have a job still since i never applied back, an not to brag, i dont really need to. Im happy as a BUM and im full of slack and trolls ahaha. Im still recieving offers as well as reinvitation to go back work for Convergys but ive declined it a lot of times already. even if the position offered is no longer as an agent even if wla pa ko ni graduate. im quite happy. thanks for asking.

oh, i almost forgot. ill be on training for NorthernTelcoWorks soon, got reinvited after i cancelled prior training due to an emergency that needed me to go back to cagayan de oro. its waaay smaller but the most convenient and fairly competitive enough for me. I dont need much money anyway. i just need to waste some time. before june. I just might go back to school since im already bored. LOL ^^
