@sir Beor, medyo matyaga gyud ka to take macro shots dah... very nice. i will try macro photography soon. your shots inspired me to research on some techniques on macro photography. let me share this link that discusses on manual focusing that i found.

... mura Macro man gyud akong inclination so mag focus lang ko more on that area... who knows, basin mu-abot ta sa mga libro sa National Geographic... hehe (ambisyoso)... nice link btw, tnx. Unfortunately, wala pa tay kaya ana. One thing I can share with you is focus with your body and not with your lens...

anakin, that particular moth rested at the side of our car... I let it fly away when we drove off... grabe gyud kadaghan bugs sa Cebu

thank you guys....this one i shot in RAW, to hopefully get more detail, and then cropped....

@edwin - you can get more detail on a full moon shot by using a very fast shutter speed, like 1/500 or 1/600. this crescent moon, the speed was 1/320 @ F/4...
