Kinahanglan man ka ug kaugalingon nga domain para naa ka ugalingon nga IP address para sa imong server.

not necessarily kinahanglan ka ug imo nga domain, you can always use DynDNS services to do the work for you and wla paka additional cost.

dependi sa complexity sa imong gusto nga set-up. is this going to be used by ur own business?

Can you have this L1Technician@L1Technician.com using your DynDNS services?

bro ang iya ra gi mention is about the mail server. we are not talking about a domain name. i can have ambot@myip.dyndns.org as a working email w/ email server. mao ingon nko not necessarily kinahanglan ka ug domain name if ang atong tuyo lang is to have your own mail server running w/c is publicly accessible...

also, talking about having something like L1Technician@L1Technician.com provided you registered your own domain name is also possible using DynDNS. this means you have to host your own domain and ur mail server on your own server using DynDNS to point webqueries matching L1Technician.com to the address of your server....

this typically matches the requirement of the thread starter, dli na cya magbayad monthly. the only thing he will need as a running mail server w/c is publicly accessible via dyndns and a decent internet connection. although, it's not really as nice as having a registered domain name but the fact that it will solve the problem makes it a viable choice in reference to the thread starters preferences...cost wise

Note: I've already done both case scenarios in real life set-up.
