sure, he can doodle. but what i imply with "write" as in literature/scripture/notes.<---significant enough to be included in your bible.

    2. Isn't learning synonymous with practicing too? What's wrong with practicing their religion when in fact you are there to learn their ways in the first place?
1.) it is the only truth about what is inside the book. that was why i was asking of what truth are you talking about...

example: bible is the only truth that tells the story of Jesus Christ.
Question: if you're not convinced about Jesus Christ, then tell me... who is your reliable source? was he with him always like his disciples? why was not he called a disciple?

2.) learning and practicing are not the same.
will you serve their god? where is your loyalty your god? conflict of interest indeed.

FYI: learning is to have an idea on what they do... practicing is to apply what you have learned. gets?

none indeed.. thats why the bible is not only our source of truth, but also His Church body and the apostolic traditions, which is already there before the bible was compiled..

VERY GOOD that you admitted that the bible is not the only source of truth. My follow up question: Are there SPIRITUAL TRUTHS AND WISDOM in other SACRED BOOKS from other religions?

So, how do you define GOD? Di ba according to the CATECHISM of THE CATHOLIC CHURCH GOD is OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT and OMNIPRESENT? So, if GOD is OMNIPRESNT or GOD is present everywhere, GOD must also be present in other religions and that includes the Buddhists. Right? So, Don't say that GOD is only limited to Christainity because that is WRONG my friend! Our aim is UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD and UNITY to all RELIGIONS even to those people who don't have religions! PEACE!

    ofcourse the bible said so..

yes they have their own spiritual truths and wisdom.. but it has nothing to do with christianity. though we respect them..

    1. ahh I see that the Bible is the only TRUTH about Jesus The Christ. So, when Mystics and Gnostics talk about Jesus The Christ in Gnostic Gospels, since it is not included in the bible, you can say that it is not the TRUTH. Right? Are you trying to disprove that the GNOSTIC GOSPELS are fake? Are you sure 100% that Jesus life was complete, no missing history?

    2. How does one learn when you really don't practice? How do you learn LOVE THY NEIGHBOR when you don't apply it? It is just like reading a book on "How to Learn to ride a bicycle?" Can one learn to ride a bike when you just read the book but doesn't apply it? So, my final question is: Can a Christian learn meditation from a Buddhist point of view not just intellectual idea but really practicing it? I know a lot of priests practice ZEN meditation. And I know one author whose name is Anthony de Mello, SJ who encourages to read eastern books and really practicing their methods on meditation. He was a Jesuit priest, the author of the book "AWARNESS"
