If the liquor ban will be raised, then we all should follow it. Sinulog can still be enjoyed without getting intoxicated and drunk.

ky dili diay ka pwede mo inom ug pasko nga b-day mana ni Jesus? ky dili diay ka mo inom ig new year? dili ka mo inom ig Easter Sunday? dili ka mo inom ig b-day? ig pista sa probinsya?

im not saying puro inom nlng sab gyud imo ra buhaton. kanang celebration like the Sinulog is a feast, a celebration. yes, op kors, naay religious aspect but naa pud lingaw lingaw. that's what the term celebration is all about.

besides, asa man ka mangahoy ug celebration event nga way inom bsan red wine lang? and it depends on the kind of celebration and the locale...

ang knanglan lang gyud sa manginomay is "drink moderately"..."don't drive under influence of liquor", ug unsa panang angay buhaton sa responsable nga tawo...

ako i agree i ban ang liquor sa carousel route ONLY, but not the rest. even if u want to drink tungod sa carousel route, ad2 nlng sulod sa licensed establishments allowing or serving liquor like in bars and restos, and not outside the streets or sidewalks waving your red horse bottle in the air or something like that. ky surely isulod gyud ka sa Kaoshiong bus...

still, that is common sense.

A liquor ban would hurt businesses. Some pubs, clubs, hotels etc., look forward to Sinulog, it being the biggest tourist event of the year. Sinulog isn't just a religious celebration anymore. As to whether that's a good or bad thing is for another discussion.

as ive said before, ang Sinulog is a celebration. naay religious aspect ug naay lingaw lingaw. wa ka kaad2 ug pista bsan sa probinsya pre? mura mag di ka taga Pinas...

sumala unsa may mahitabo ig Holy Week? di ba from Holy Thurs to Black Saturday solemn gyud ang events? nya ig Easter Sunday, mosimba, then mangaligo dayon ug dagat, mangaon ug mag inom? mag unsa man diay ka ig Easter Sunday? mangadyi ra? LOLs

ah cge, kanang sayon ra sabton. di ba before sa pista sa probinsya naa man gyuy 9 day novena? nya ig bisperas naay procession? then after naay disco2x ug peryahan? mao2x rana sa Sinulog pre.

and there is a very big differnce between a TOTAL BAN and a SELECTIVE BAN of liquor. the former is impossible while the latter is reasonable.

to add, Sinulog is not just like any fiesta. it is a fiesta celebration for the whole of Cebu in honor of Sr Sto Nino, a tourist attraction, and something that promotes our culture and for business investments to the world.

it's like a big party where u raise ur wine glasses and say "CHEERS!"

liquor banned is implemented sa streets na agian sa sinulog route. but okay ang lang ang liquor sa sulod sa resto/bar. maoy akong nahibal-an.
