Wala pa gi conclude nga nag recession mo? Didn't you read the sites that I posted? Some of those dated back to October of last year! Are you waiting for a public announcement from your government to claim that Australia is indeed in recession? LOL. Listen to the economists!!! Not the government. The government will be the last ones to accept recession.

It took the US 1 year to claim recession since signs of recession were detected. ONE YEAR! why? Because the country don't want to scare investors away!! Not `til it became too obvious that the US Government declared that we are indeed in recession.

Same case is happening in Australia. Who would want investors to look someplace else? Declaring recession would only scare them off. Yet THE FACTS ARE THERE that your country is indeed in recession since October. The JOB LOSSES and MARKET CRASH says so. 40+% loss in the market is a big deal, MISS. Get that through your head. Why refuse to accept it? Because you, personally, can still afford to shop and spend 35K in a month - that does deny recession? LOL. Miss, there are people in this forum who can afford to spend that much per month.. and some of them naa sa pinas.. but the thing is, they're smart enough not to because they know that these are hard times. If I were you, WAKE UP! - read the financial news and get enlightened.
im not the self centered type sis.u are just trying to emphasize to me that since usa...ur country is now broke...u want australia to be broke too.but as u can see...were not struggling as much as usa citizens do.i spent that money back to philippines...not here.spend more than that.lol.that was back in oct.though..why not watch the news again this time?theyre not as bad as they used to be last year.u are just trying to put australia in such a bad situation just to prove to everyone that usa is better?no offense meant sis...

sis, u kept on saying USA is broke, Singapore is broke & Australia not broke, don't be ignorant sis!

if USA is broke & in financial crisis, most of the countries all over the globe will be much affected too as they're relying on USA & Europe esp on the manufacturing sectors as they're the big market players...

as much as i understand from ur news article Singapore Slumps Into Recession | SKORCAREER

The biggest blame was put on the continued falling demand of its export products from the US and the Europe, mainly the consumer electronics and high tech manufacturing products.

Manufacturing and export are two of Singapore’s key economy drivers, and accounts for more than a quarter of the country’s GDP. Its once thriving pharmaceutical industry is also not looking good, becoming one of the mostly hit casualties in the decline of the manufacturing business. Analysts are expecting an exodus of job cuts and layoffs, with foreign workers to become the first batch of victims.

With the weakening of the US, European and Japanese economies continue, the future does not look too good.

I don't know if u really read all those articles that u replied on my thread, really wonder why as the way u replied is not that relevant...

so with this article sis, do u still think Australia is not in recession as what i mentioned on my previous replied on this thread, WHICH COUNTRY WHO WOULD HAPPILY ANNOUNCE THAT WE'RE ON RECESSION of course NONE as they wants investors to come & help the economy...
