i agree...that is why i steer away from being front-seat with computers. i give 1-2 years so kadtong high-end pag gawas, either mid-end na or low-end. much better kung used and in good condition. hehe.

i think there are 3 types of pc buyers.

    1. earlybird
    - they can afford to buy the latest, bahala mahal, they believe - they got what they paid for.

    2. sweetspots
    - waiting for prices to drop. getting most out of their money.

    3. spareparts
    - getting spareparts. doesnt care.

right now, im planning to buy the quad core 2.6ghz and above.
knowing corei7 is almost same price range, i think ill go for corei7.

    still waiting for the sweetspots.

i totally agree but sometimes it feels really good to be in the forefront once in a while. maybe in the next 2 years na pud ko magpaatubang sa hardware. hehehe...

    hehehe...

the thing is, if we look at what is forsale today, kanang mga highend 2years ago, murag lowend na man kaayu today.

anyway, i just read some comments about corei7 mobo, dili pa daw kaayu stable, most probably bios refresh updates will come in the next few months.

well, not unless AMD will release new chips, tan-aw nako mo-maintain ang price sa i7 for the next 8 to 12 months. motherboards? hmmmm, i think newer boards will come in at 18k up in months to come when the x58 will be fully utilized and ati n nvidia will start working together for the supports of their cards. We are also expecting chips from ATI n NVidia for the i7 supports for the months to come, so expect a 30 to 50k motherboards sometime soon...
