well, nothing that AMD offers(as of today, 11/28/08 ) is on par with Core i7.

i still remember the Core 2 days. i drooled over the E6600@17K. Core i7 seems cheaper than Core2 @ launch. the board seems too expensive though, kay ang mga Core 2 board sauna, mapalit @ around 5K (P965). Originally Posted by infoseeker

So very expensive, but I can wait for the price drop. I don't need this kind of speed since I haven't yet used massive CPU usage applications.

Mas pas2 dyud ang intel ron in terms of processor technology compared sa amd, kung sa budget ok ra ang amd pero kung gus2 dyud ka mas pas2 sa amd ug mas mahal sa intel dyud.
For now AMD is still pawned by INTEL in terms of performance even with their latest processor Phenom II released in january 9, 2009.
