Yes, I fully believe that gays and lesbians are as normal as anyone else. Only one thing makes them different - their sexuality. I happen to be lesbian and I do not consider myself to be abnormal, and it is quite insulting when people judge me and claim I am not normal, or mentally ill. These people do not have an understanding of what mental illness actually is.
