I TOTALLY AGREE. bsan unsa pana ka buang ang taxi driver (or was it colorum driver), he doesn't deserve to be killed. the driver was unarmed man di ba?

and there is this wrong notion that the guard was mauled. actually they got into a fistfight. but since the guard was overpowered by the bigger guy, he pulled out his gun instead (WHICH IS THE RIGHT WAY). Heck, even if he fires the gun could still be a right move. THE ONLY WRONG MOVE was that his act doesn't anymore fall as self-defense or something like a hot pursuit to disable a person so he can be arrested. it is already called REVENGE. he fired on his vital part. not the legs, not the foot, just so to disable him temporarily, but not permanently dead. He didn't even fire a warning shot.

AND TO THINK the guard pumped 2 more bullets at him while he was already lying in pain from the first shot to his back.

Klaro kaayo kuwang ang guard sa rules of engagement. the driver isn't even armed w/ a knife.

I've seen a similar case before where a trainee was made to carry a firearm in a raid done by a police team. ang nahitabo, tungod sa ka nervous ug kakuwang sa trainee, gipusil niya ang unarmed bugaw nga nidagan nagtalikod. Luckily he survived but paralized for life iya spinal column. Ang trainee, murag tua pa rn sa presohan. and to think he was not supposed to carry a firearm during that operation.

Sakto pud ka. Pro lets say ani pud na situation, naay ni sulod kawatan sa inyo balay then lets say g rape or g patay ang usa ka tao sa sulod sa balay. what u r citing is entirely a different scenario that cannot even relate to the airport shooting.

ur example happened in a private property, a home. but for the sake of argument:

if u r d house owner nka kita ug kawatan nisulod sa imo balay nya nang rape or nkapatay pa gyud, of kors if u have a gun, u will not hesitate to fire at him. that's self-defense. doesn't even matter how many bullets u pump at him so as to make sure he's dead. in the court of law, wala kay sala ana.

now assuming nka gawas na sa balay ang culprit nya imong pusilon nagtalikod, pwede pa gihapon na, as long as naa pa sa imong tugkaran ang culprit.

if we go further, kung nka gawas na sa street ang culprit nya imo gukdon ug pusilon, that's another story. ur firearm is only licensed inside ur premises and not outside. u could always make a citizens arrest but not take someone's life in public and take the law into ur own hands. u will be slapped w/ homicide and illegal use of firearm.

now back to the topic, i can't understand why some people condones the false act of that airport security personnel. perhaps they are trigger-happy people or just somebody who either has no alamag w/ our laws or doesn't respect our laws...

if i were you nga ni-abot ko gikan byahe, i would not take a cab ngadto sa arrival... saka ko sa taas adto ko dapit sa departure mag-atang og taxi kay sigurado ko nga wala binuang...

pre, murag wa cguro ka kabaw sa nahitabo noh...ky ni saludo naman hinuon ka sa guard. for all i know, gi condemn sa mga tawo iyang act, gitaktak na sa trabaho ug gibilanggo na, nya here u r wanting to give him a "plaque of depreciation"?

OK ra unta kung napusilan ang driver while nag bugno cla sa guard. pero ang naka apan, humana ang sukmagay. lage tungod ky nihulbot ug pusil ang guard so nidagan ang driver. ky ngano gipusil nga nagtalikod pa gyud nga unarmed man ang tawo? nagpada ra sa kalagot ug ka-uwaw?! for all i know, pwede raman unta mo warning shot lang. ug kng dili gihapon mohunong ug dagan ang driver, pusilon sa tiil.

MY VERDICT: VENGEFUL MURDER...life imprisonment (or sa laing lugar pana, DEATH PENALTY) mao nay tagam!!!

ang sulbad sa abusado ug bintahoso nga driver dili ang pagpatay kundi pag disiplina ra sa saktong pamaagi by enforcing the rules strictly and observe the proper rules of engagement.

it is another case of murder regardless it was the arrogant victim who started it.what the guard did was a display of lack of restraint & training in "deadly force policy"

a lesson for everybody if you pick a fight against authorities enforcing laws something "bad" will happen to you.

ot: made me think twice about arguing with security guards now.might as well walk away because it don't want do get shot just because of petty issues.
