    Default program missing..msln no found..skipping autocheck on startup


    Hi again pc gurus! Naay mugawas everytime mag startup ko sa windows xp, naay mugawas nga note: "msln not found..skipping autocheck" on d blue screen. Pero after that, mu resume rana cya sa iyang normal operation. Nganu man ni? How do i fix this?

    spyware, pag scan na bro.

    bro check your msconfig naa na sa startup nimo, e uncheck na.

    Post your Startup screen shot dire kay atong himbisan.

    Bro, I suspect that is a spyware. Please check if this executable file "msln.exe" is present in "C:\WINDOWS\system32" directory. If indeed found, take a full virus scan in your PC.

    wala man msln pero duda ko naa nani daan sa windows xp. na ing ani ni cya sukad pag gamit naku sa spybot unya murag naay nausab nga registry. mu prompt man ang spybot if "allow change" or "deny change" kung naa nausab nga registry. it so happend na click naku ang allow change pero usually deny change jud na ako i click.

    ako na gi search wala man file name "msln.exe" sa WINOWS\system32. ako na sad gi full scan sa ako symantec av wala man threats found

    1. autochk.exe
    Path: C:\WINDOWS\system32

    2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\BootExecute (located at registry)

    naa man autochk.exe sa system32 folder. how do i access the registry?

    Bai, naa access na nako ang BootExecute. Sa Data, it says " autocheck msln autocheck autochk* "

    unsay normal nga setting ani sa registry? Angay ba ni i change? Would it affect the system if once ma change ni cya?

    bro, naa jud spyware sa imong PC. Kanang error ni prompt inig start-up nag as if ra na running as normal. Please run Combofix pero i close sa tanang programs hasta ang spybot.
