Mga computer wizzards. Akong gi reformat akong cpu pero inig on nako sa computer papilion man ko between xp home edition ug same xp home edition (OS selection). I want to remedy the start up OS selection. Ako na gireformat ug usab pero mao ra gihapon. Unsay akong buhaton? Thank You.

open the system configuration utility:

1. click start, click run.
2. type 'msconfig' (without the quotes)
3. click the boot tab.
4. click 'check boot paths' then delete the invalid boot found.

restart and voila!

ngadto sa imo drive C:, show hidden files ug system files.. nya iopen ang Boot.ini, nya makita nimo ngadto under sa operating systems duha kabuok nakabutang, deleta to ang walay gamit, (ang ikaduha)..

i wouldn't recommend this kay basin ang ikaduha ang sakto. why not let the OS check the boot paths, instead -- much safer.

Akong gisuwayan imong suggestion poldopunk pero naay prompt nga "it seems that all BOOT.INI lines appear to be ok." Sorry for the wrong post.

ishow all files una.. ngadto sa Tools>Folder Options, under sa View tab, select Show Hidden Files and Folders ug uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files. nya makita nimo Boot na file. moopen na siya sa notepad...

or para mas sayon, kani buhata..

click File > Open, type sa filename C:\Boot.ini

tahay ang ikaduha ang dili mogana, deleta ang ikaduha, pareha anang akong gi-coloran ug red.. pero if ang una ang dili mogana, deleta ang una kanang ako gi-coloran ug green.. then save..
