those, if any in here that are on the 457 visa, i suggest you get your permanent residency quick...that way you wont have to pack your bags if you lose your job.

hello, i was just thinking if somehow you can also advised me. I already launched my papers to CPA Australia, i already paid them the US$350 for assessment result, that was on July last year, but then until now i don't received my assessment result yet. I already contacted the CPA Australia and they replied that they already sent the letter(result) last September 15, 2008. But i don't received it until now, i also checked the local post office if they received my mail, but they don't received any letter for me.

    bai,

Australia is also affected sa global financial crisis...
assuming nga wala ning financial crisis, dili gyud problem manguita ug trabaho diri...
especially kung IT related imong qualification.

Sa ako lang nga case karon...medyo naa gipang sacked...mga 4 employees sa among Engg/Arch drafting department. So medyo tagilid ang sitwasyon...even me.

Dili man siguro pwede nga mo-anhi lang mo diri as a tourist and then nguita ug IT related jobs. Unless of course Working Visa imo...

It's either you migrate or look for an employer first. Then you come here.

    hope this answers your question.

    cheers,
    Bisaya Dako

    bai,

when you applied, you should have told them to communicate via email. Kay medyo lisod ang postal services sa Pinas. Unless you choose DHL, Fedex, etc.

Just ask them again for the copy... both via email and maybe FedEx....

If I remember it right, my brother got his Engr's Assesment Result last June08 via FedEx NOT Phil.Postal Services.

    cheers,
