Question: what is the difference between a christian and a protestant? Isn't a catholic a christian and a protestant a christian too? just curious

Christians and Protestant are the same. Catholics and Roman Catholics I suppose not the same at all...Protestant and Catholics both believe that they are Christian bounded by their respective belief.

There are Catholic Rites... usually kay mga Eastern Catholic Rites (Most of them stick with traditions)... They are not officialy part of the Roman Catholic but they are in full communion with the pope. Pwede ra gani daw musimba ang mga ang RC sa mga Eastern Catholic Rites with the permission of the bishops.
