And that is what has NOT happened! The victims weren't proven to have committed crimes punishable by death. If they could be proven, then you would not have vigilante killings. They would simply be jailed the legal way.

Vigilantee killing is like bounty hunting. They are not that stupid to just kill anyone. But it would be much better if the judicial system and the police force will be reformed so that we wont need vigilantees.

The first premiss is already WRONG. Not all ex-convicts prey on innocent people. In fact, most don't prey
on anyone at all. Just because you are an ex-convict doesn't mean you will engage in crime again. That is
a stupid assumption. I know or have heard of of MANY ex-convicts and ex-criminals (who were never convicted)
who have reformed and led exemplary lives. So the first premiss is just plain dumb.

The killings perpetrated by the NPA is part of their war. Its not the same with the vigilantes. The vigilantes try to supplant the law. They are plain executioners without the benefit of a fair trial. there lies the difference.,

I apologized for the " not so specific " given. The EX CONVICT example was meant for those who were terminated by the V's and not all ex convicts .
