what music or bands' endeavor you anticipate this year?

Me is the collaboration between Sean Watkins of bluegrass/pop band Nickel Creek and Switchfoot's Jon Foreman and also Sean Watkins collaboration with Glenn Phillips of Toad The Wet Sprocket called W.P.A. maybe release in the middle of this year.

Then Switchfoot's new album and first independent album.

Then there's talk of a new Arcade Fire and of course Andrew Bird!

And a possibility of Hanna Montanah and Jonas Brothers going country...

And the rumor return of "N SYNC!!!!

And then i hope Fleet Foxes and Drive By Truckers will put out new albums this year as Jason Isbell will be releasing one...

..and please please Eraserheads new studio album hopefully please...!!!

And Alan Jackson and George Strait who seems to release an album every year which i don't mind if they do. They are the saviour of mainstream country music!

And i hope Dwight Yoakam will stop making movies this year and focus on a new album!

And can't wait for that Tim McGraw and Chris Brown collaboration and that Tim McGraw and T-Pain too.. just curious... hehehe

And where on earth is Mastodon

And please Dave Mustaine drop the Megadeth moniker and just make a solo record. Don't make Megadeth into another Secondhand Serenade. Megadeth used to be a band. Now it's being reduced to Dave Mustaine's ego. He should release an album under his name. Maybe a worship album is a good start since he's been writing worship songs ever since he got saved. Not just the typical Chris Tomlin worship song lyrically but more of the Andrew Peterson/Derek Webb approach to worship music lyrically. Musically, please remain a Megadeth!

im looking forward to Mastodon's Crack the Skye. bago nasad concept nila. asta pud ang A-Lex sa Sepultura.

but what i most look forward to in Metal this 2009 is Anthrax's new album. ang naka bati lang kay wala na si john Bush.tsk3x pero ok lang. medyo ok mansad ang bago ni puli.

hehe excited na ko sa Dredg og My Vitriol... finally, My Vitriol is gonna release a new record this year. and i hope they really would. mura na hinoun sila og Chinese Democracy sa Shoegaze da.hehe


and about that Megadeth part. i dont think Dave needs to drop the name Megadeth, considering Dave Mustaine is Megadeth and he just brought along everyone else...

the most exciting maybe is when Slayer will become a christian and will release an album of christian reference while keeping the name Slayer.

Yah i remember he started it all by himself as a sort of revenge to his former bandmates.

i dont know about Anthrax turning religious. pero from what i know their all Jewish. hehe i doubt ma religious na ang Anthrax..hehe and Tom Araya of Slayer is a devoted Christian... yes seriously he is.

Si Scot Ian raman ang upaw sa Anthrax. and i saw an interview of him aswell sa Star World nga Channel V which he was asked about his beliefs, and he responded nga he was born Jewish and that everyone in the band is Jewish. nya naa pato siya gi joke about being Jewish in a metal band.. na among pa si Kerry King og si Matisyahu sa iya joke...hehe
