uhmm... you can't accuse someone being a close minded if he/she wont believe your facts in a first glance or never will. some people needs some time y'know.

example: what if i tell you that your mother killed someone with a fabricated evidence... would you be happy if i tell you that you're a close minded because you wont believe me?

I'm not accusing you bro. Am I? Take your time. That's why I said search and search until you will find the TRUTH. How do you do that? Study and Reflection. You just don't have to rely on FAITH alone because FAITH WITHOUT SCIENCE is BLIND as Frances Bacon said. Knowledge is Power!
I read the BIBLE a lot but I also question a lot. I Investigated all forms of knowledge from Science, Philosophy, and Religion or Spirituality. I am very skeptic about those people who impose their views to others. I have found out that the Bible alone is not the only source of TRUTH and KNOWLEDGE! All the sacred books from other religions have something to teach me too!

your example is good! However, I would first try to investigate if it is true whether my mother really killed someone and find out why she did that in the first place.

I wouldn't be happy and yet we have to realize that NO BELIEF IS HIGHER THAN TRUTH. I may deny it or don't believe in it but THE TRUTH SHALL ALWAYS PREVAIL NO MATTER WHAT! PEACE!

Profound question. We are looking from the Microcosm to the Macrocosm. As within, so without. As Above, so Below!

Reincarnation, literally "to be made flesh again", is a doctrine or metaphysical belief that some essential part of a living being (in some variations only human beings) survives death to be reborn in a new body. This essential part is often referred to as the spirit or soul, the "higher" or "true" self, "divine spark", or "I". According to such beliefs, a new personality is developed during each life in the physical world, but some part of the self remains constant throughout the successive lives.[1]
Belief in reincarnation has ancient roots. This doctrine is a central tenet within the majority of Indian religious traditions, such as Hinduism (including Yoga, Vaishnavism, and Shaivism), Jainism, and Sikhism. The idea was also entertained by some ancient Greek philosophers. Many modern Pagans also believe in reincarnation as do some New Age movements, along with followers of Spiritism, practitioners of certain African traditions, and students of esoteric philosophies such as Kabbalah, Sufism and Gnostic and Esoteric Christianity. The Buddhist concept of Rebirth although often referred to as reincarnation differs significantly from the Hindu-based traditions and New Age movements in that there is no unchanging "soul" (or eternal self) to reincarnate.
During recent decades, a significant minority of people in the West have developed a belief in reincarnation.[2] Feature films, such as Kundun and Birth, contemporary books by authors such as Carol Bowman and Vicki Mackenzie, as well as popular songs, regularly mention reincarnation.
Some researchers, such as Professor Ian Stevenson, have explored the issue of reincarnation and published evidence of children's memories of earlier lives in peer-reviewed journals and elsewhere. Skeptics are critical of this work and say that more reincarnation research is needed.[3]
