what are you talkin about? these companies AMD and Intel both make very good processors quality-wise.

Death-by-age or "wear & tear" - is just a part of you processor's life. It is NOT a business strategy (that's a bad business strategy). Both companies are smart and would invest more on quality instead.

Your are the "wear" of wear and tear. So you are a factor in determining the lifespan of your processor.

it may not be a so called dirty tactics.. but i think they make items nowadays to last for a bit of time.... lets say maybe a year? why would they give us a 1 year warranty if they didnt know thier item wouldnt last that long of normal use, diba?

the only way to solve this dispute is to take on a challenge.. let us work on the same budget and see which system is better (bang for the buck argument)...

give me a budget that would give you intel guys the best system you can think of and I'll counter it with an AMD system with the same budget... so any takers?
