its not really against the NEGATIVE outlook on the NURSING PROFESSION, but the SITUATION it presented.

some SEE/VIEW it negatively....others see it as an OPPORTUNITY.<===why most PUTI dont pick up this profession.

well, i'm not disagreeing with you on this. i agree with you, some see it as an opportunity. sad to say ang mga nag nursing sa atoa? ipang abuse sa mga skwelahan, dagko tuition fee, dugay kalarga.. ang uban mangahagbong pa, worse, asa trabaho? samot na si Obama ma presidente... nga Americans first man gyud na obviously.

IMO, if you compete in the PUTI dominated field...most often, mauuna talaga ang PUTI. unless, you are that exeptional.IMO.<====same rationale why some local pinoy doctors ended up as nurses in foreign soil. gusto ng mga PUTI mag doctor eh. but dont view this as a hindrance for becoming a doctor in abroad though....if you really want it, gotta work hard for it.

daghan opportunity abroad when the situation presents itself. para sa pinoy, the QUICKEST way to go abroad is to become a nurse... asay QUICKEST ba... hehehe.

^yah, the people running our country ALWAYS take advantage...wa pa ka kalarga, gi gatasan na ka....mu larga na ka gatasan pa ka(all those airport and other non-sense FEES)hahaha
last nakong balita 3 months lang ang i-allow sa public hospitals para sa volunteers(unsaon na lang tong kailangan ug 1 year above experience)...kung sa private ka volunteer, ikaw pay pa bayron para mu duty. <====nucking futs

I disagree chad. the quickest way to go abroad is to be a MAIL ORDER BRIDE.hahaha

nah ambot...nurse pd toud ko..pero wa pa jud ko kasud og hospital...haskang kapoya lagi ma nurse oi...karon pako ka realised jud..basol jud ko ani nga ako gipili..pero at least though i hav regrets to these i make it man pd...

possible OT: FYI lang sa tanan ha...na mag think na mau ang mga foreign nurses compared sa pinoy! d permi oi ky ang lamang lang nila sa ato ky permi sila updated sa skills and technology. pero kung skill or utokay lang and hatagan ug same exposure ang pinoy RN, mas naa ta utok ug skills ky nila no! poor lang gyud ta sa exposure, grabe! sa ila na side...wat u read in those NCLEX books truly happens in reality here. mao feeling nato mau sila!

Student nurse grad sad ko batch 2007-2008 pero la ko board oi, ngta dayon ko work sa lain field ... nya ako friends ron naa mga RN ala sad work ... grabeh competensya ron if clinical praktis lng hisgutan .. others are working in call centre lng gani ... pero as usual if there's a will there's always a way man sad bah.
