How is controlling Firefox via Group Policy 'odd'?If you are going to be using Firefox as either a primary corporate/work browser, or as the *only* browser (again, in a Windows environment), controlling it via Group Policy is a must. How else can you prevent users from installing their own extensions, changing whatever settings in Firefox (like let's say, oh, I don't know, configuring their own proxy servers?). Firefox also has its own 'update' capability, which is completely independent from Windows Update, which is again, supposed to be controlled by the company's IT department's weekly/bi-monthly security update schemes.
