YES, christians teach those...bu they are NOT THE ONLY ONES...the "golden rule" isnt christian specific. heck, christians dont have the COPYRIGHT for such rule either.

that rule has been around since the ancient greeks and even older religions. note: way older than the bible.

    you mean golden rule sir?

is the Golden rule, "Do to others...etc...etc..."

dili Love thy enemies...Love thy neighbor...

the Bible (collection of books) might be compiled by early Christians around 300AD+

however some of the books, were already written...as early...as early...as the time begins...

in my opinion, dli na mu matter if those rules were prehistoric. i believe in those words and thats wat it counts. i hope we're not separating the goats from sheeps here. Of course whoever said christianity is easy? if i were God, why wud i make physical signs for humans to believe me easily? Way challenge dba? Thats why we have faith because we want to believe in something intangible, beyond the physical. And of course i apologize to the non-believers out there, it is true there are a lot of bad christians out there who say what is right but do not do what they say. I am also a bad christian but i hope it does not fuel your despair and i hope we all learn to lean on someone and not lean only on our own understanding.

i was only pointing out that the bible cant claim those COPYRIGHTS...as what the other may imply.

judaism has their version, taism, confucianism, even islam has their version(a muslim friend once told me)

...and some of them predates the bible and its authors.
