there's no sense comparing UFC to boxing.

i love mix martial arts, safe man gud sya, at least makabali lng dli ta makalog or mamatay or mabuang

ako gusto na training kay boxing training kay makapatay ang kumo ultimate self defense jud pero kung sparring mix martial arts lng akong icontra at least dli ko mamatay, mabali lng, tap lng ko dayn!

mixed martial arts is a good sport but boxing is a very dangerous..

kanang mga organizer ug mixed martial fights, apili nya ninyo ug boxer para nice

boxing is not dying. Someone, somewhere, sometime a star will rise. Boxing is not dying but Joe's career is and probably his promoting/marketing skills

you're the retard who doesn't get it. the business aspect of boxing is doing okay, while the essence of the sport, the "real boxing" i'm talking about, is slowly declining because it's half-witted, inane or sorry for a better lack of a word dumbass "fans" like yourself thats contributing to its rapid decline. i would like to give you a complete education of real boxing and its history, but i refuse to waste anymore of my time educating a person with a learning curve of a dyslexic preschooler. read and understand the post or just shut the hell up if you do not have the slightest clue what i'm talking about. i've had waaay better conversations with a 10 year old about boxing than the one i'm having with you right now. too bad your parents didn't have the foresight to have you aborted. that would have saved istoryans and the rest of the world from hearing the rant from such an effin' idiot. /thread

LOL!!! the essence of the sport of boxing is the art of fighting by using only your fists as a weapon and that's what boxing is, and it never changed.... clearly you don't want change or evolution in boxing because you live in the past but sorry this is the future of boxing....if u don't want that then you're a complete douche..

and oh yeah, u really want me to put a glove in ur ass dude?ewww that's just gross dude and i won't waste my time talkin to a pathetic loser like u are.... and using fancy words won't do u justice....

omfg... who the hell is arguing on the art of boxing? what foreseeable future? evolution according to who? you? you talk a lot of smack and don't back any of the shit up. did you even read my post? that is how a "normal" adult carries a conversation. those aren't fancy words, it's probably a little too much for a retard like yourself to understand. being an idiot is no excuse to post in this forum. read my post again and stop embarrassing yourself. until you can come up with something intellectually substantial to post as opposed to the lame gay-ass/gay porn comments you seem to be really be fond of using to end your post., i won't be wasting my time any further more. incest must really run wild in your family considering how grotesquely retarded you came out. oh wait! i think i hear your dad fornicating with your crying sister in the other room.

i'll be ending this thread enjoying my christmas holiday. merry christmas mofo! peace!

ESPN - Experts: Boxing will stay afloat in '09

Ross Greenburg, president of HBO Sports, doesn't believe the demise of De La Hoya means the sport is dead.
"I'm an eternal optimist. I don't ever count out the sport of boxing. People have been doing it for 100 years," Greenburg said. "The next big superstar in the sport is out there lurking in the shadows. I believe that Manny Pacquiao has launched himself into super stardom. He's shown he doesn't back down from any challenge.

As I said, they are entirely different sports, bisan naa pay gamay nga similarities. mora kag nag compare ug american football and rugby.
point taken. that's my point saying that MMA fighters will be training in boxing to further hone their skills.
