shutter speed = speed of the opening of the shutter to expose the image on the film/sensor
ISO = on film cameras; is the "speed" of the film as it captures the image exposed on it. sa digital, naa pud ISO but this is an "equivalent" of the ISO for film

the relationship between the 2 is that the higher your ISO, the "faster" your film; this affects the shutter speed that will be used. for example, at ISO 100, your shutter speed is 1/200; at ISO 200, your shutter speed would be less, like 1/125....
