Bros need advice from your expertise of PSP thing... currently my friend is in the US of A right now and i asked him to buy PSP for me..and he asked me if PSP 2000 or PSP 3000 and i dont know about PSP thing so much...so any brilliant ideas? which is which that works fine here in the Philippines? please tell me more about it.

psp2000 would be the best choice because of the cfw. as far is know the psp 3000 does not have a custom firmware yet meaning its not hackable you cant play iso/cso with it.

how would you know that it is PSP 2000 or PSP 3000? do i need to upgrade or downgrade PSP 2000 in order to download free games in the website?

pero if you want to play CSO/ISO games lang, get PSP2000 with 3.9FW or lower/ or with board lower than T-88v3...

sorry im not that good in terms of jargons of PSP thing...i dont know UMD mode and CSO/ISO games bai..and how do i know that it is 3.9FW or board T-88V3...

psp 3000 - CAN NOT play PIRATED games as of the moment, you have to buy original CD games for it
psp 2000 - can play pirated games on a memory card

^^ not all PSP2000 can play "pirated" games. FYI.
buy a PSP2000 with an official firmware of 3.90 below..customize the firmware, and you can play tons of games without spending a dime.
