yeah i tried accessing wowscape.net and tried to download wowbc without antivirus.
nya pagkahuman mao to ako gipascan sa avg ang puter daghan au virus nakita dayun akong gipang delete ang tanan infected human ato wala na koy ma-acces sa ako puter
but i noticed avg also detected the program asus pc doctor and asus gamer osd, this programs' nature are like virus... gidelete pud sa avg ug apil.

iRun ni siya bro.. "C:\boot.ini" nya iopen sa Notepad. deleta ang OS na walay gamit..

the viruses/worms were trojan and tanatos:

While installing the worm copies itself to the Windows system directory under a random name and registers itself in the system registry auto-run key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Once

The worm's EXE filename depends on the C: volume name, for example:
FYOM.EXE
YOK.EXE
The worm also places a DLL file in the Windows system directory under a random name and uses this file to 'spy' on and record all keyboard input.



its not that fatal, the problem was when avg detected tanatos and trojan they were everywhere, my mistake was i deleted all infected files including the files themselves instead of healing them.



tanatos is using trojan's path as his own. in other words you have a higher risk of tanatos when you have trojan. funny thing is the only email i receive during those times is the one from friendster.. and im not a fan of friendster.

Sayang jud ang mga mp3/movies. E-duha ka partition imong HDD bai. Para sa pikas drive nimo e-save tanan important files. Next time magka problema, drive C nlng e-format. Safe imong files sa pikas (drive D) partition.
