I'm a computer engineering graduate... here's what I did...
1. AutoCAD 2D or if you can boost your knowledge up to 3D then it is much better.
2. Programming knowledge, Python & C++, don't program as if you are acting like a web designer or web developer... write programs targetting "Computing" don't focus on GUI. Focus in providing solutions to any Mathematical problems.
just have a regular review on CCNA or MCSE... man no need to hurry yourself to get certified. just know the concept and remember them when you''ll gonna find them if you need it on the future.
with your skills above... you can easily hired as junior staff to any IT or ENGINEERING company...

unsay mas ganahan nimo sa pagka-comp.e? software or hardware ka?
kung software, mao na master gyud ka C ug C++.. karaana nani but they are useful.
pwedi sad web developing imo tirada..
kung hardware ka, hmmm.. naa ba designing diri sa ato??!! ngita lang.. competinsya nato kay ECE ani!!
pwedi pod networking (dili kana mlm ha!), mao nani gamit sa CCNA ug MCSE.
you have to choose kung asa gyud ka..
