how often does your GPU crash and burn?? LOL has your graphics card crashed and burned? if it does burn doesnt your computer go with it? unless you overclock which i dont think you know either xD

that's surely an amateur's POV. in cases where data and schedules are critical, a GPU crash and/or burn is wasted time, and translates to wasted money. (exempli grata, graphics designers meeting schedules, and a sudden GPU crash occurs). instead of going to the stores and RMA'ing your stuff and/or buying a new one, this technology can TEMPORARILY use the CPU.

if you can afford dual cores and i7 for that matter you can afford a dedicated cheap solution. LOL
