MATHET was formed in late 2007 out of boredom, frustration, substance and alcohol abuse, blinking lights, and Kwik2x... Oh?! and yeah.. of their love of MUZIK aswell!....
The name MATHET was penned primarily because everyone in the band is too lazy to think of any cool or clever name. The band did used TETHAM at first but changed it due to the fact that reversing names is too gay and very lame, thus the band stick with MATHET. In the course of time, MATHET has experienced head trauma, organ operation, liver malfunction and has changed three drummers since its inception. And decided with the current drummer because of his residential address, his skills, and his massive collection of porn movies...
As of the band's music, well, Mathet is a salad of different genres. being influenced by Pop, Punk, Jazz, Prog, Garage, Art-Rock, Math-Rock, Trip-Hop, Shoegaze and too many more to mention... to make the statement short, the band is ****ED UP AND CONFUSED!
