Christianity:
How different is a Christian from a non-Christian?
Catholicism:
Born and bred as one. Never had the chance to ascertain other religions.
I despise the thought that it is an empire run by authorities who don’t practice what they preach. And MOST of the die-hard Catholics don’t even have the balls to protest against strict, absurd “policies” or are they just scared to complain because the notion of being thrown to hell is there. (somehow, complaining also means questioning your faith in God). In short, All bark, no bite. I guess all of us have noticed how lavish the priests have become.
Bible:
(Bisaya) Read it when I was little but never understood a bit. All metaphors. How can you expect a child to understand, “ug ang pulong nahimong taw…”?
(English) Obliged to read it because I went to a Catholic school. I still marvel why and how the mid-life of Jesus was omitted in the bible.
That there is only one God. Yet, I am still confused on who “GOD” is among the three: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Reading doesn’t always mean comprehending.
Islam:
That it isn’t purely about religion. Rather, it’s about culture.
Quran:
No strong stand. But all the muslims I know are willing to take the life of another in Quran’s name.
God:
Agnostic. I’m yet to see HIM.
Paganism:
Aren’t we all pagans?
Paranormal:
That I think I’ve gone crazy.
Local customs:
Shallow. Pointless. Baseless.
Do you make your own conclusions or do you follow the norm?
Known as someone who goes against norms. Just because everyone has ipods doesn’t mean I’m going to get one.
Others:
VERY observant. A listener/reader/thinker not a talker. No matter who you say your GOD is, I always have questions in my mind. The more you talk, the more defensive you become.
Christianity - we are one body
Catholicism - I was born Catholic and I am a practicing Catholic and my family is doing the same
Bible - The greatest book of all time. I have read a few chapters but not all.
Islam - originated in the Middle east. I am not well versed about it.
God - The creator of heaven and earth. The Father of all mankind.
Our gracious and merciful Savior.

Christianity: This is a religion based on the teachings of Jesus the Christ. Catholicism is a part of this.
Catholicism (dapat ilahi ni): I am one. Although I could say that I am loyal to my faith, I still believe that the religion I am in is far from perfect that's why I respect others who have a different religion than me. Don't get me wrong though, as soon as I feel that you're being too pushy with your religion I lose respect of you right there and then.
Bible: This is a book compiled by christian leaders long before from many books made by prophets (as considered by christianity), apostles of Jesus, and others more. This book, since it is not personally made by the source, it is full of inconsistencies. That's why I don't take the book literally. That's why I said that my religion is far from perfect.
Islam: This religion is the most misunderstood. It promotes violence? I don't think so. Even my religion has some degree of violent past. It teaches them to stand by their beliefs, to protect their faith. Terrorists were denounced by Islams since terrorism is not a part of teachings of Islam.
Quran: Didn't read this book much and have never had an in-depth understanding regarding their doctrines and principles.
God (not subjective to any of the above): I believe there is one. And I believe of only 1 basic teaching that the god i believe in wants us to follow... Love the Lord your God. Love thy neighbors as you love yourself.
Paganism: This is the most primitive form of worship. Though still a religion no less.
Paranormal: I don't believe in the paranormal.
Local customs: I don't have any problem with it as long as they don't disturb me or the peace of the public.
Do you make your own conclusions or do you follow the norm? Of course I make my own conclusion. I was given the brain to think things over. To make my own decision on how to live my life. I am not easily brainwashed by all those new self-proclaimed prophets emerging these days. The norm for me is what I make for myself.
naa diay ni nga thread...

Christianity: The biggest religion of the world. Too many issues on doctrines and sadly the reason why they are divided. Have lost their most precious book, the origial bible.
Catholicism: its a mix of pagan practices and apostolic disciplines. An Empire.
Bible: Nice book for inspiration and spirituality. But lost most of the Prophet's including Jesus original message.
Islam: Its like a Diamond if you know what i mean. Its more like a culture or a way of life than a religion. The Fastest growing religion of the wolrd and most of the converts are women.
Qur'an: Sacred. Recited in arabic by 10million people all over the world. Even if all the Qur'ans were destroyed,The muslims can reproduced it again, we can get a muslim from china, india, arabia, philippines, indonesia, united kingdom, russia and put them all together and let them recite the Quran from cover to cover and youll have the same words coming out from there mouth and from them we can produce another Qur'an and publish it again.
God: The Creator of both the spiritual and physical world. The only ONE, He doesnt have a partner(spouse),cant be begotten, no son, and cant be liken to a human.
Pagansim: Nature worship, idol worship, also an old religion.
Paranormal: i do believe in it but too many conflicting views such as the hteory about the third eye.
Local customs: Do good.
Do you make your own conclusions or do you follow the norm? of course i make my own conclusions. But if the norm sounds good then why reject it?
sos. di ko pwede anang quran dah. i have short term memory lossHow do you do it?
question diay bai. when you study it, is it in it's original form? i noticed on websites side by side gyud siya in English and the original. That's very nifty feature aron ang source gyud imo basihan. Minimizes losses in translation. At least if dudahan ang english tan-awn ang original phrase. If only christians were taught hebrew it would be open to proper infallible translations.
no wonder you and tokidoki knew nothing about the quran and the hadith.
Do make an in-depth study and you would have said the same thing as your pope.
"Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."
