there is no such place as purgatory... nowhere to be found in the Bible... and what's the point ? like, praying for the souls there? hmmm... what if nobody knows that person there... too bad....

the reason why you cant see purgatory in the scripture is simple.. you cant find it there its bec the church only made that word to name that particular place written in the scripture where people there are being cleansed since nobody can enter heaven if unclean..

RC prays for the dead and hope that they will be saved.. Yes prayer, it is written in the scriptures the Prayer of the dead..

There is no purgatory. No matter how hard my fellow Catholics defend it, it simply doesn't exist. Nowhere in the Bible does it say nga ang kalag, pending ang status. Unya pwedeng ma-promote sa heaven or hell, depende kung unsa ka-lakas ang mga backer, in the form of prayer nga binayran.

So sad, since I'm a Catholic, but purgatory is a synonym for business thru prayer.

its not that bad.. catholics praying for the souls is not limited only for the souls that you know. but for all the souls there, wether you know that soul or not.. we pray for them on ALL souls day.

once your in purgatory you are asured of heaven. dili ka ma promote sa heaven or hell, sa heaven ra... and if your souls directly go to hell after death dili na jud na ma promote to purgatory.

i dont believe in purgatory.. i agree with fishpen.. useless lang jud ang pag sacrifice ni Jesus Christ if naa purgatory...wala d i to bili iya pagkamatay.. kay inyo pman ipa ampo ang mga kalag nga naa "kuno" sa purgatory... ipa ampo ni kinsa man? asa man ninyo ipa ampo?

as the Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time.

meaning.. wala nay lain pang buhaton ang tawo... although he/she as the right to choose... between right or wrong.. good or bad... heaven or hell....
