Why buy a ferrari if a jeepney can get you from point a to point b.

Use the money to buy a house instead. Its not about luxury, its about spending wisely.

I dont have a problem if you have a lot of money to burn, so do it. But the problem is the hype that uber cooling is a must for todays systems. I just cant agree.

hahaha. you missed my point. these types of systems do not cater you. these systems are for the lottery winners, the super-rich, and anyone else who can afford to buy a PC equivalent of a corvette convertible.

again, these systems were not made for people with a lot of NEEDS. these systems are for people who want to build the top-tier systems, with all the money they can burn. sheesh.

there is no hype such as "uber cooling is a must for todays systems", as you said in one of your previous posts. nobody said that uber cooling is a MUST for everyday systems. enjoy. and read your own posts. cheers.

Ok bro, I see you point. These products are not meant for poordoy cheapo guys like me.

Its one thing to be rich, its another thing to be wise - thats what Im saying.

If you can't feel the hype, then its up to you. Coz I could certainly feel that these products are overrated and worse, not neccessary.

don't get me wrong, i didn't say buy the utmost expensive without thinking about quality. IF YOUR SYSTEM NEEDS IT, AND YOU'VE GOT MONEY TO BURN, GO GET IT. simple. it isn't making DUMB choices if you ask me. for certain, there are really expensive products that you can't call a white elephant.

when overclocking a system to it's limits, do you think standard and/or after-market air cooling suffices? i never have seen an advertisement saying "LIQUID COOLING FOR LOW-END CELERON SYSTEMS".

Either way I still believe these products are overrated. If I have a million bucks (which unfortunately i dont), Id buy a good air cooling system instead of these. And still have a lot of extra cash to give to the poor...hmmm, now thats what I called money well spent. lol
