    Question Intel E4500 what happened?

Guys, i have a this Intel E4500 processor and i just noticed that computer shops aren't selling this processor already. I wonder why. Is this processor have bad feedbacks and bad performance that it's longer visible in the market? Better pa ang E2XXX naa pa.

    Any ideas?

This has been replaced with E4600, I think. Same specs if you ask me.

800 MHz effective FSB, x12 CPU Multiplier, 200 MHz CPU FSB, 2MB L2 Cache

The only difference is the CPU Multiplier, kinda like an overclocked version.

    **edit**

if your raise your FSB sa E4500 to 220 MHz, leaving the CPU multiplier at stock (x11), it now becomes the E4600 (2.4 GHz)

E4xxx series is I think end of life na.

Its cheaper to produce 45nm fabrication. If I were on the marketing I will phase out those 65 nm units that are more expensive to produce.
